I actually don't loot items at this point unless it has stats or it's a direct crafting material. Stuff is too heavy to keep on myself for hours at a time.

I can keep my eyes open for something though.

On that note, anyone know the process for making a group container? Last I saw they weren't available in game but I've seen people plopping them down recently and I would love to have a way for my group to drop all the vendor crap we get into one place.

The day to night transitions are my favorite part of this game. I know we have some dynamic weather but I hope for clouds/sun type craziness at some point.

So I've been told that the alpha for MNM isn't the best place to play by multiple different people now.

Wondering if we have any FoH people in the alpha that can chime in on their own findings too.

Heard that there are people like 12 boxing, running exploits without reporting them, multiple people talking about groups being closed to people not in "the circle" heck even a MNM dev was complaining about that.

12 boxing? If you get into the alpha/beta do you get to make multiple accounts or are people stalking the give-aways and gobbling them all up? I would at least think about trying to get a alpha/beta key if I could two box (any more than that seems annoying), but not going to try to take two give-aways just for myself.

As for bugs, I'm surprised how few there are, but it would be a bit annoying if assholes are not reporting sploits they find on a test server.

I know people multi-box in the open weekend / 10 day type tests. I assume people are boxing with other peoples accounts that have quit playing or whatnot in the alphas.

Supposedly nick was mentioning that he only recently stopped passing out keys to accounts that had previously won in giveaways. So there is that at least, what came of that I have no clue, but apparently it was happening.

People hoarding exploits doesn't shock me at all, that's the number 1 reason why "Rolling" starts are / have been terrible for persistent online games. People hoard the exploits and then use them in secret or whatever to get ahead of everyone else asap. Will be interesting to see how MnM fares going from EA to release without a wipe. (we aren't in EA yet for people not in the know)

I'm fairly sure that it's not possible to do anything beyond 2 box unless people are sharing accounts.

I wouldn't be surprised if people were exploiting, but I haven't witnessed any of it. If you get caught and don't report it, you get banned so good luck to them I guess. The devs spend a decent amount of time in GM invis watching people to analyze things like TTK, class dps, and get data on certain mobs and what not.

Almost everyone I've run into has been friendly and I've never been denied a spot in a group.

Devs (mainly Shawn) have been pretty good about squashing drama and removing the couple troublemaking assholes I've seen starting shit in the discord.

If the alpha is anything like their Discord it’s populated by the exact folks you can imagine.

This goes back to what i was talking about last week with players cockblocking non- instanced raid content. Wait until there are entire guilds multiboxing the most target-rich endgame dungeons in shifts. Mix the epeen driven chudmaxx crowd with a little sprinkling of RMT and the fantasy of exploring the world with your lantern, your dagger, and your mule won’t last past level 30.

Had a guy recruiting for a guild and I said ok, he then sends me a copy paste about going to there discord and reading up to see if I was a good fit, then if I am to fill out an application. Yeah...no.

I say this, but I don't think there's anything special in particular about the MNM fan base as far as in-game behaviour. This kinda stuff is gonna happen anywhere.

That's the appeal of the no-box server(s). It will take a full raid of sweaty autists to cock block you instead of just 3 or 4 super sweaties. THJ (and probably numerous other EMUs) had an auto multi-box detector, so I'm sure MnM will probably have something similar as the first line of defense.

I think the notion that there will be the population to support numerous server rulesets remains to be seen. They aren’t gonna open a new server for every niche group unless it’s economically viable (infrastructure, staff, etc).

They already stated on the FAQ (or some place on the website/Disco) that there will be at least 3 servers at the start of EA: 1 multi-box, 1 single-box, and 1 PvP.
