All you need to do to participate is register and install the game!



Details​

  • Our new Launcher is available, please make sure to download it: https://account.monstersandmemories.com/launcher
  • The available servers are Relle (PvE), Krivea (PvE), Haradrel (PvP) and Sorophal (PvE).
  • We will have Customer Service on hand to help with in-game issues. Please use the /petition system if you need CSR assistance.

745 on rn, and it's laggy as all-get-out. Not sure what the point of these playtests is when they haven't sufficiently developed a solution for all the lag and glitches from the last open weekend or the ongoing closed beta.

Best advice is leave night harbor ASAP, can level up one zone over as well, especially in a group.

But it sounds like the bar was high for Nick to get the other developers to address community feedback. He would mention something, they'd wave it off, and then Nick would need to provide a lot of receipts-- which was then viewed with disbelief and suspicion by the guys that it was real genuine feedback.

Regarding the feedback, I mean...shawn reads fires...he's mentioned some of you by name on stream. So it seems like he reads his fair share of "FEEDBACK" that we do on here.

Shawn had a stream this morning, somewhere in the stream he stated "Trolls will be coming in Module 1" and by the roadmap; EA will be getting a few of the races put in, including trolls.

Yes, the modules will be released during EA and before 1.0.

The next zone over out of either gate for the turbo newbs. Tho Dunes has more super low mobs patrolling past. Just have to dodge jackals and more ashira. SGS you'll have to run around for newb mobs, or if you get something going with CC, the ashira camps all over the place will get the money coming in.

Yeah, reading that I assumed he probably meant Reddit or the Discord. Those opinions are fucking retarded. The stuff here is generally pretty level headed and from the viewpoint of an overall successful game. Because like you said, anything said here Shawn probably at least skims at some point.

Nah he told me he was going to start moving some of the skills to higher levels and possibly adding ranks once in beta when I asked him.

Previously meaning in the months prior. He recently started to pivot a few weeks before his firing during beta.

There was a lot of contention around that time regarding class design. A lot of which should have been settled in their years-long alpha testing phase with the amount of players involved in Friends and Family closed alpha (among them many level 60's)

Nick was a day late, and a dollar short.

Surprised to hear it was lagged for you? I was actually shocked today when I logged into relle and had almost zero lag in night harbor, despite nearly 500 in zone. I tested for quite some time too and had minimal/mild spikes. Honestly was never this unlagged on the closed beta ever, so I thought they must have fixed something with it

There’s no way they will have core elements of classes done by June in my opinion. Personally I will still play at EA start because of all the extra content that is being added but it’s clear there will be a lot of class shakeups as we go. This is one of those rare games where it may be worth dealing with it because of how fun it will be to explore the new shit before all the info is out there.

btw incomplete class doesn’t necessarily mean underpowered. But just be ready for wild swings in power and feel
