I think listing the server metrics might end up bad for them because when the populations even out and players begin to leave the starting areas, tons of people are gonna move to the highest pop server they can find when they notice their own server is a ghost town. It would be nice to have something to look forward to through the rest of the year.

Not trolling like Pantheon thread - I legitimately think the game will have a good launch, drop down 1/4th to 1/3rd of the player base after the first month and then slowly rise from there for the near future.

I think the majority of the players for this type of game will get to their 30’s and the slow down that they will encounter will make several people step back and evaluate whether this game is for them or not. They’ll unsubscribe and then another module will drop and they’ll resubscribe, and pick up from where they left off and .. under a different perspective- play the game in a fashion that fits a play style/speed that is fun for them.

Ive been messing with this game off and on now for.. I think, a year? Its the same game as then on the surface, but so much has changed, been updated, added to, etc. that its really not the same.

What Im curious about is how the money will change things. People will get back-pay for their work, sure. Server costs are paid. Etc. But .. how much of the staff will be brought on as full time and what kind of output will they be able to pull off with that staff?

I'm curious to see what happens with WoW: Forever in the mix.

A ton of folks I interact with on Quarm were super stoked for MNM, then Blizzard made their announcement. There is a crazy amount of excitement for Classic+ from people you wouldn't expect. The 10 guys I run with are all gonna sub and a few are already plugging away at the beta like weirdos.

Definitely wonder how this will affect their ceiling for launch EA subs.

Do we know how server health is looking? I still may buy if it looks like interest is robust.

it just passed 5k people subbed for the first now, tho i dont know how much you can read into that at this point.

If it's anything like concerts or festivals they'll double that in the last week at least.

I bet most will not sub until launch or word of mouth. I bet we will see an influx when people tired of WoWF, not many but enough to make a difference.

Having one poster option is rustling my jimmies. I want to do my gaming room in those posters as I love the art style.
