Mortal Kombat (2021)

Loved the choreography and cinematography on the fights. A lot of full takes, limited cuts on blows exchanged.


Shou especially, but I'm assuming even Johnny Cage had some martial arts training or background-- mostly due to the leg work by Liu Kang and them both.

Linden Ashby had like 10+ years in Tae Kwon Do and Kung Fu if I remember right.

The row of trees forest scene was amazing in the trailer watching as a kid. The movie itself was a letdown but was still must watch.

Yeah I didn't have any problem with MK1. Not sure what you all expected from a video game movie.

nothing can touch that theme. probably one of the best pieces of vidya game music. i did like this one too.

I still remember the packed theatre for the first MK movie when the beat dropped. Crowd went nuts.

MK 11 is an amazing game tbh, im happy to see another movie.

Noob Saibot is fucking nasty in MK 9. Ed Boon and John Tobias are legends.

Everyone not saying Raiden is wrong. He was in Big Trouble in Little China, so that makes him the best MK character, by far!
