The only thing about the plot that doesn't make sense, is who decided it was 10 victories to claim earth? That's some arbitrary nonsense if there ever was some. If he wants to conquer shit, bring your army and do so, if Raiden tries to stop it with his own defense even better

the elder gods set the rules to prevent everyone slaughtering each other. each of the movies and games has worked around to "fuck these elder gods, they ain't shit"

I saw in another video Linden Ashby confirmed some of the blows in the Scorpion fight were real.

Albeit by complete accident. Was a neat tidbit.

Scorpion / Subzero's outfits seem weird to anyone else? Not sure if its just the actors or what, but them being slender/ninja builds in everything else they just look bulky.

That said, seeing scorpion as a human splatter all the people with the rope & kunai (?) was awesome

there was a web series that came out years ago called Mortal Kombat Legacy, ran for like 2 seasons and had more grounded outfits/actors/powers/etc. Still went fantastical but it was really neat

Kano's eye lazer looked cheesy as fuck. Scorpion had some fat Boba vibes in his armor. Also seems weird Scorpion is the good guy and Sub Zero the bad guy? Isn't that the opposite of how it is traditionally?

Both Sub Zero and Scorpion were bad dudes in the OG Mortal Kombat movie.

Sub Zero is only good after Retcons. in 3 he lost the mask but it was like his brother instead. Then he had his own game. People just loved Sub and Scorp and the game sowly made them good vs evil due to their conflict between clans.

also everytime i'm reminded of a mortal kombat movie, they always fail at cyrax/smoke and this horrible tv show (i watched it, i have no fucking idea what it's about lulz) had the best cyrax costume

I recently was browsing YT and it's interesting all the characters they have in more recent MK games, tons of crossover. Terminator, Alien, Predator, Robocop, Rambo, etc. Pretty amusing.
