King of puppets and the rabbit brotherhood were the only bosses that gave me a lot of trouble. Laxasia being kind of hard, this games melania. Final boss I didn't have too much issue with.

Woops just realized this is a MS thread. Oh well

Just finished my run. Only had difficulty with 3 bosses in the game, including the last one. By the time I was grinding against the last guy I decided to move on. Chose the weak/wrong ending and moved on to the next thing in my backlog.
It never clicked for me like Sekiro did. I felt a lot of things were not telegraphed enough to react and relied on memorization. Though I probably didn't go deep enough into combat.

I almost don't believe you even played MS.
Ok gang, I am playing Lies of P on easy. I suck at these games. If you read the ER thread you'll see I got it late because I sucked at these games but in ER you can overbulk. I didn't realize there wasn't an upper limit on levels and I was steamrolling mobs. I didn't want to look at the game and ruin the experience. I've died a few times in LoP but nothing too bad. I didn't play MS, I played the demo of MS2.
Also, 2-3 years ago I had part of my BRAIN fucked with and my reactions are not so great. Enjoy your leet skillz.

MS2 is kind of easy for the most part with the different shells completely trivializing certain aspects (either farming, bosses, etc). However, the game is way too stingy in resource acquisition, and through base game only allowed me to fully upgrade one shell and one weapon. Annoying. If you pick the wrong one, the game will be much harder. The last boss is literally the only boss in the game I've had trouble with, and my shell just sucks for his move set.

Overall, surprisingly fun game. Short enough, fun combat, great looking and runs great. Combat is fun, weapons are neat (but like I said, good luck if you pick wrong shell/weapon). They need to triple the resource acquisition rate and tune a few fights up and down.

Depending on how thorough you are in exploring, you should get at least enough materials to max out (Bonding) two Shells, and max lvl 3 weapons.

Kajiimagi Kajiimagi Unfortunately the Demo doesn't let you experience the full impact of the Slayer Seal as the only Sidearm you get is the shotgun type which doesn't synergize with the Seals ability to break. Here is a vid showing how OP it is, using Tiel, the starter 2H and an easy to get Sidearm (Forgotten Crossbow):

Can do the same vs all the various bosses, though not as easily since you'd still have to learn their movesets and dodge like a madman.

yeah maybe in the future on deep sale. I like these types of games but I really suck at them.

Hit a bell for a couple of minutes, get yourself 100+ Grisha Remnants. Apply as passive item. Proceed to steamroll whatever you want until the final trio of bosses that can't be stun locked. Still works after the patch today which already made the game much easier. Grisha also procs on swing, not on hit. With a high enough count you can proc multiple per swing.

Finished my run the other day, and it was a lot of fun. I'm somehow missing 2 tarstones according to the game, but I've not seen them on any guide/list I've looked up. Maybe they are dlc stuff. I wish games that had NG+ did more than just reset the map and increase hp/dmg. The last game in recent memory which had a purpose to their NG+ was Stellar Blade, sadly this game doesn't appear to have a purpose (other than initiating NG+ itself; story reasons). Found this video by Mortismal and I agree with everything he says, though the lack of checkpoints didn't concern me too much (other than the run to the double Grishna boss).

Highly recommend playing this when you get a chance.

The quality of the last handful of bosses takes a nosedive but the game is still a high recommend. Monolith in particular is one of the worst boss fights I've played in this genre because the animations just do not match how the enemy should move, the attacks are nonsensical and the tracking on them is insane.

ive finished it in night mode, but i find replayability in ng+ bit meh. No new items new or skill or zones, its just the same shit to play different shell. dont find rly any reason to play it
