Absolutely. It actually makes the whole situation far more galling. It is like Lebron talking about politics. It affects my enjoyment while I watch for no good reason.
Also played Savage twister to wipe the board.
But...my all time favorite land destruction deck

My first PTQ win was playing U/W Counterpost splashing 3 Stone Rains with a 4th in the sideboard in Ice Age block constructed before the Glaciers ban. Caught a lot of people by surprise and the format was all about Thawing Glaciers and Kjeldoran Outpost. Have played plenty of land destruction strategies over the years, but LD is kind of in the same category as counter magic and likely you'll never see a lot of good versions of either of these things in standard anytime soon.

survive the early game long enough to get Magic Mirror out and it's game over. and there's a lot of good tools for surviving the early game in UB this set.

Counterspells to keep Oko off the board in the first place (or bounce with Brazen Borrower then counter), or Rider to remove him, then if the game goes long enough Covetous Urge to steal it and use it as my own.
Tho after doing that a couple times I'm starting to think I should just go Sultai and blow my last few Mythic wild cards on some Okos

I miss boomerang, but one of the wotc people (I Want to say Aaron Forsythe) basically said we cant have boomerang any more because players finally learned that it was basically sinkhole.

Crafted full set of Oko day one. I probably should have played it more since the ban stick will hit it at some point. Maybe after they ban FotD which I like playing more. I have seen some Sultai Superfriends floating around and might have to try that out.

They already restricted a M20 card in vintage.
And since they don't ban anything in vintage thats the best you can get.

So many people made full sets of Oko, I bet if they ban it they end up refunding wildcards or something on Arena, to minimize backlash
