Because the media is a joke and so is the MVP voting most of the time. MJ not winning MVP every year and never winning it unanimously is a travesty.
Shaq got screwed by some homer voting for Iverson.


Barkley actually had legit competition, though. He honestly shouldn't have won it over Hakeem or MJ that year.

Barkley's season was pretty fucking fantastic man, and to do it on a new team and lead them to the best record? Idk.

Heat reporter Ira Winderman told 560 WQAM that he doesn't believe Chris Bosh (blood clots) will play in the NBA again.
Bosh was trying to get clearance from doctors to return to the Heat for the playoffs and even asked the NBPA to step in, but the Heat announced on Wednesday that he has been ruled out for the rest of the postseason. There was simply too much risk for Bosh to return this season, but to be clear his status for the 2016-17 season has yet to be determined.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said there is "no dispute" between the Heat and Chris Bosh about his playing status.
"It seems like the science is clear here," Silver said. "There is no dispute here between the player and the team and the league as to what the condition is. This is primarily a relationship matter between the Miami Heat and [Bosh]. He is a fantastic guy and a wonderful player-obviously I feel for him that he's out right now." There remains no timeline for Bosh's return, and he will not play in the 2016 playoffs.

Very unfortunate. I think a completely healthy Heat team could have given the Cavs a run for their money (or at least won a couple games). If it's as risky as it sounds, good on the Heat for not letting him come back even though he wanted to.

I still like Joel a ton if he can get healthy. Much more than Okafor. I still think you want that Lakers pick to actually go to the Lakers this year though.

I really don't know what to expect now that Hinkie is gone. Outside of one of course.
