Whitehouse, TX. I used to live not far from there. I think his family owned the Oil Palace in Tyler, TX. They weren't a good name 20 years ago.

The incident happened on Monday, when a witness called police after Manziel used the shoulder to pass the witness? car at a high rate of speed. The witness said that Manziel and his girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, were arguing. Crowley, according to the witness, was trying to exit the car.

Police later stopped Manziel, and he and Crowley admitted to drinking earlier in the day. Police determined that the couple was not intoxicated.

According to the report, Crowley said Manziel had pushed her head into a window. Police reportedly noticed an abrasion on Crowley?s arm, but they later determined that the abrasion was from Manziel?s attempt to keep her from getting out of the vehicle while it was on the road.

He'd been drinking earlier in the day = hungover. Pushed her head into a window. Nothing happened here, just your average day out for a drive down the shoulder of the road terrorizing other motorists while your girlfriend tries to escape from a moving vehicle.

I think it was more of a story because he spent ten weeks in rehab for alcohol issues earlier. So the fact he was drinking again is something the Browns might not be too happy to hear and may affect how he's viewed by the organization.

I mean.. generally people who go to rehab for a substance can't ever use that substance again. The fact that he was so soon after getting out of rehab should be a HUGE red flag for the Browns.

He probably doesn't even have a substance abuse problem, he is just a rich kid in his early 20s doing things kids in their early 20s do. The difference is he is a professional athlete so he is expected to not do those things.

How can someone make it to adulthood and not know what hungover means? You're seriously sounding like a gossiping house wife with the hyperbole. Passing someone in the shoulder is now "driving down the shoulder terrorizing other motorists". Grow some balls.

The drinking even though he was in rehab would mean a lot more if he went to rehab because of a DUI or domestic violence he blamed on alcohol or something. Really, he just went there on his own for personal reasons so he's "allowed" to drink since he's an adult.

I hate that I'm defending Manziel.

Passing on the shoulder is illegal and unsafe period. Another motorist called in to report him due to this reckless driving, so yeah, he was a threat to people's safety. Whyareyou defending Manziel? If this was some nobody linebacker from the Niners people would be all up in his shit.
