Here's Gordon's stats:;Josh Gordon: Career Stats at NFL.com

You are straight fucking retarded if you think Gordon sucked. You can talk shit about him being stupid for getting high and suspended over and over. You can even say he won't come back the way he was but you can NOT say he "wasn't even that great".

He put up 1646 yards in 14 games. If he plays 2 more games that season he could have set the single season yardage record. He had 9 TDs that season also.

That doesn't even show what he was truly capable of though:Josh Gordon: Game Logs at NFL.com

Look at the 4 games after he came off the bye week.
5 rec 125 yds 1 td vs Cinci, that D doesn't suck...
14 for 237 1 td vs Pitt
10 for 261 2 tds vs Jaxnville
7 for 151 1 td vs NE

4 game stretch 36 receptions for 794 yards and 4 tds in 4 games. You are sooooo fucking high if you think "he wasn't that great". Those 2 back to back 200+ yard games were the first in history. He did this playing for the BROWNS!!!! The one thing he had going for him was Norv Turner's deep ball system and clearly Gordon was the right fit for that system.

The guy has real potential if he gets paired with the right coach and he'll obey the bullshit rules. I still have hope for him to have a good career. I like seeing players reach their potential.
Not sure if you watch actually football, but Gordon played 5 games in 2014 where he put up a monstrous 60 yards/game. That put him on pace for <1000 yards that season and I'm pretty sure that's what Tenks was referring to.

Edit: Oh yeah and Cowboys 16-0 with Tony Romo winning MVP, Offensive player of the year, and Comeback player of the year, GQ's sexiest man and most likely a Nobel Prize

Bengals go 14-2 yet somehow still don't secure a first round bye. Lose to the 9-7 Oakland Raiders.

Wait, we're supposed to be making unrealistic predictions?

Gordon, a guy who is throwing away millions so he can get high instead of making millions, retire, than smoke all the fuck he wants to. A true American success story.

It's almost as if coddling talented teenage athletes and then giving them millions of dollars, more money than any of them would likely see in a life outside of sports, is a bad idea. What could possible go wrong?

The amount of abuses made to the English language on this page alone makes me weep.

Weed shouldn't be a fucking banned substance to begin with. I understand, he knows the rules, he should know better, meh meh meh. Still fucking stupid.

The Johnny Football shitshow continues:Johnny Manziel accused of nearly $20K in damage to rental home

"Despite Mr. Manziel's assurances to my client that the rental was to be used strictly for his own personal and private use, surveillance footage shows that Mr. Manziel threw large parties on both nights, causing extensive damage to the subject property," Ghazian wrote. "Evidence suggests that Mr. Manziel and his guests were consuming drugs and alcohol on the property."

According to the letter, the damages include "extensive burn marks from cigarettes and marijuana" found on the floor, wine stains "that cannot be removed" from a carpet, a broken glass table and a broken door.

...

Manziel's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said Wednesday that he will no longer represent the former Heisman Trophy winner unless he gets treatment within a five-day window. Rosenhaus has never fired a player in his 27 years as an NFL agent, according to ESPN's Ed Werder.

Yeah, I don't think it's some crazy notion that the Cowboys go 10-6.
I don't think it is either. Have had some debates about this recently, who the "favorite" is in the NFC East this year. There are some Skins fans who think we should be the favorite and a near lock to repeat. I'm not saying it can't happen, but I think they're nuts to say we're the favorite. Healthy Cowboys still have to be favored to win the division. If the Skins have another good draft like last year, and we get anything near to the final 10 games of the regular season Cousins for most of the year, I might start listening that we're in the discussion to repeat. Schedule is tough, and has a really tough 7 game stretch.

Eagles I think got bailed out a little bit by Miami to allow them to recover from the Chip disaster a lot faster than they otherwise would have been able to, but I'm not convinced it'll be this year. No fucking clue what to think of the Giants. Coughlin finally gone, threw a ton of money at guys who probably weren't worth that much, but they had to plug holes.

Realistically if the Cowboys are healthy I think they're the slight favorite, with Giants and Skins behind them, and the Eagles maybe a slight step behind them (for this coming year at least).

Tbh with this trade I think Fisher realized the Rams were on the brink of being better than .500 and needed to do something drastic to keep the status quo.

Please Jesus let Andrew Luck play for 16 games... Colts schedule is absolutely hilariously easy. I think there's 2 teams I consider "good" and probably 2-3 that COULD be good next year and the rest are just hot buckets of dog shit.
Easy schedule can be a double edged sword. So you make the playoffs but then get bounced early cause you weren't really that good to start with? Unless you wrap up home field advantage with that easy schedule does it really help as much as you'd hope?

Norv Turner was gone that year he put up 60 yds/game too. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Gordon WILL be the best since Megatron but it's not quite fair to say the guy sucked either. He played some outstanding football his sophomore season.

I think both Fisher and Snead know they have this year to see significant improvement or at least have the excuse of a new signal caller being the problem. The team has been average to bad for over a decade. Ownership has to be a bit impatient.
