I think the "controversy" is asinine. Dak is playing really good, mostly mistake free football, which is exactly what Romo will do when he takes the field. They only thing they might not do as much is read option plays but you'll definitely see a lot more play-action, air it out plays. That Dak is doing this as a rookie is a revelation but, for 2016 at least, this is still Romo's team and the only thing Dak's good play has allowed is time for Tony to get fully healed. Is Dak the future? Absolutely. But let's deal with that in the space it belongs... the future.

Think of it like the Broncos last year. Regardless of how Osweiler played, they were always going to put Manning back in once he could go. That was Manning's team, win or lose. Even though it was clear Manning had declined significantly, there was never any doubt about who would take the field when it really mattered.

Watching this Jets - Cards game I am thinking the Jets has some good players such as Forte, Marshall, Revis, Decker, Leonard Williams but why are they such a dumpster fire?

Yeah their QB sucks dick but even a half competent QB should be able to bring this team to a decent record given the players they got. The Jets have a awful run of QBs in recent years. Fitzpatrick, Geno Smith, Buttfumble, Tebow. The last time they had a good QB was 2008 when Favre was playing for them and they still limped to a 9-7 record.

Just got back from vacation.

Fucking thing sucks.

Our defense is a fucking mess. 3 out of the last 4 years we have spent a 1st on a LB and the only one of those who is playing was the bust pick in Jarvis Jones. Until Shazier can not get hurt every week and Dupree makes it back, we are up shit creek with no paddle.

The Jets starter QB is Fitzpatrick and backup is Geno. You then look at their division rival and see Brady as their starter and Garoppolo as backup and you can assume that the Pats will be ahead of the Jets for probably another decade.

The Pats are basically the luckiest team in the history of the NFL to have the rest of your division be *that* fucking bad for *that* fucking long. When was the last time a SB was won from that division from a team not the Patriots?

Man, Jets went from potential playoff team last year to blowing it in Week 17 and 1-5 to start this year in a hurry. Their schedule has been not friendly, but even so, probably never had a shot at their division, and 1-5 just leave you too far out of the wild card hunt already. Arizona right back in the thick of it though at 3-3.

NFC could be pretty crazy for those 2 wild card spots. You'd have to think division favorites are solidly Minnesota, Dallas, Atlanta, and probably Seattle. After that you have the Redskins in the 1st wild card spot currently, follow by Eagles and Packers at 3-2...but with 4 other teams that are 3-3.

Not a win, but the 88-92 Bills should be in the conversation long before the 72 Phins.

Anyway, it looks like tonight's game was a real barn burner. MNF has been hot garbage for the last 5 or 6 years.
