Poor Shannon. He's not part of that .01%!! It must be hard with his rights personally taken away and all that segregation he had to survive through. I don't know how he has the courage to continue getting up every morning and leaving his poor ass gated community to go to his multi million dollar job. Damn, can we have moment of silence for his feelings? Maybe Dez figures out his skin color one day.

That's pretty terrible for Heap and his family. Really sucks.

On a different note I'm finally feeling optimistic and hopefully for the Chargers. It should make being terrible this year that much more soul crushing.

Eh, I'm ok with it in a vacuum. What I'm not so ok with is pouring nearly all of the FA resources into the secondary at the expense of almost everything else. Edge rush? Possession WR? OL? Seems like the DB's are the number one offseason priority so far but if we still can't pressure the QB up front and convert third downs on both sides of the ball then back end coverage isn't going to save us. Its not like Webb can cover anyone fast or really tackle anyone big, he's still kinda ok as a blitzing safety I guess. I'd feel better about it all if they had replaced Pees.

Goodell only cares about air in footballs. Given his track record for punishment for stuff off the field (beating women and children, manslaughter, suspected murder), we can safely rule him out as a suspect.
