NFL 2019 Season: It's Tricky!

Why wouldn't you call a time out at 2:45 on 4th down? Instead of getting the ball with 2:30 they got it at 1:55. Fucking awful coaching.

Yeah that just killed any chance of going for the winning score. Not to pick up at least 5 yards over the middle though seems silly.

Having timeouts for the end in case of weird shit is probably preferable. Or at least better safe than sorry.

Is not going for a hail mary there an admission that Cousins can't get the ball to the end zone?

You lose 35 seconds on the clock and lose an extra time out from the 2 minute warning. There is no situation where it's not the right call. On top of it they threw in to the center of the field AND didn't burn it for the penalty. This is just fucking awful clock management.
