Why wouldn't you call a time out at 2:45 on 4th down? Instead of getting the ball with 2:30 they got it at 1:55. Fucking awful coaching.

Having timeouts for the end in case of weird shit is probably preferable. Or at least better safe than sorry.

You lose 35 seconds on the clock and lose an extra time out from the 2 minute warning. There is no situation where it's not the right call. On top of it they threw in to the center of the field AND didn't burn it for the penalty. This is just fucking awful clock management.
