Battle of the Southlands. Who will out goon in the battle of the goonsquads? I'd say Florida has an edge in the goon department as Svech is out injured. I want to say Carolina runs over Florida but after all this shit can we be sure?

This series is going to be trench warfare, I didn't realize most consider Florida to be the #2 checking team in the league (behind the Canes). The storylines are pretty crazy especially considering it's the 25th anniversary season for the Canes (Staal brothers reunion - Eric won the cup here in 06, Paul Mo coming back - most games coached by a HC including the 02 Cup final run).
