yeah walmart bundle still up 4 hours after it went up, might be an error or maybe walmart has millions but if you want one

I was about to pre-order one and decided not to. I just don't feel the urge to get one right away. Like with the first switch, PS5 or the mini NES/SNES.

The only thing that annoys me about the walmart preorder is the full price hold on my account... just charge it, or hold a 50$ deposit amount... its not a thing, its just "slightly annoying" to have a $550 hold sitting there for what, 2 months?
But the wife is happy to get the new Mario Kart, she is a big kart fan- I was meh, didnt really care until a new zelda or metroid showed up

its sold out for preorders everywhere but I've seen reports on reddit that gamestop stores will have 100-200 extra consoles on launch day to sell in store, and I'd bet best buy, walmart, target will also have extras.
So if you didn't preorder and really want one shouldn't be crazy hard to get one at launch, especially since probably 30-50% of presales were bought by resellers and if the ebay prices tank they'll be returning all those boxes.
i have a preorder in at gamestop and honestly no real interest in keeping it but if tariffs jack the price up $100-150 by holiday times it might be worth keeping just to have it on hand. i don't see an OLED hardware refresh for at least 2-3 years, probably switch 2 lite would be the next version.

Even before the thing was truly announced Nintendo said they have been working with manufacturing to ensure no mass out of stock issues.

...for this reason. As has come up here before, Nintendo's operating profits are on the order of the combined total of both the Playstation and XBox divisions. Clearly their market is not evaluating the product in the same way you are.

Nintendo makes so much money its not even funny- their “failure” systems do nothing to them other than PR or embarrassment etc - essentially after the SNES Nintendo as a company is just rolling in the money.
Microsoft intentionally broke in w heavy loss lead on the Xbox - and has not been able to get out from under that in all their generations.
Sony owns so much of the “bones” of things they make money existing.

hmm looking at the HW X-Rays.. I don't see how Lovelace is gonna play into it, there is very minimal space left over with-in the package its self, with the 8 core ARM(wake up, Hyperthreading is friend for portable power, you don't need 8 physical cores.)
