It's fairly mind-blowing what they've done to this franchise since Casino Royale. Royale was a re-branding that showed a more realistic, visceral side of Bond that was wildly successful critically and financially. Immediately afterwards, they work to fuck up every ounce of goodwill generated. QoS was a artsy- fartsy. almost action-less attempt to destroy the franchise just one movie into the re-brand. Similar to Star Wars VIII, the person guarding the franchise was asleep at the wheel.
Then, they decide to copy the least favorite early Bond film and replay the marriage and death of his wife. They want to show the mental toll of his job! Like anyone gave a damn what a trained, state-sponsored murderer feels that has killed thousands of people. Throw out a genesis story, a broken man story, and then end it with him being replaced. That sounds exactly how people envisioned their Bond story and a great way to keep the franchise running for a few more decades. But, they don't really give a damn what the fan base wants either. Every time someone mentions how business looks out for their wealth production, I just mention Ghostbusters, Chik-Fil-A, Dick's, and about a half dozen other companies run by SJW loving retards. These people are really fucking stupid and proof positive that almost all jobs are... who you know not what you know.
