I expect the value per dollar to go down as you go up the product stack.

And thats fine. Its their prerogative how they want to price them. And BTW their price is $1200 not $900. But you still have not answered my question. Let me re-ask the question then...
Do you think 5%-8% is worth $200, literally like 10-15 frames if that?

getting ti at msrp vs 3080 at retail/ebay prices, of course

also, what it looks like living in a country ran by cucks, incels and fags

I'm not sure what your reading comprehension problem is here.

I think a 200 dollar premium, for 25% more ram and 5-10% more performance depending on the title, is probably worth it for some people who want a premium product; that is the literal definition of the word "premium." A 70% markup for 5-10% performance is not worth it for anyone.

But on the flip side, Nvidia would be stupid to not try to capture some margins back from the scalpers. They can always lower the price later when yields are higher.

Well from that review last page the extra ram is literally useless. Even at 4k youre not using any of it and its not enough like the 3090 to do the developer shit. IMO even at $200 extra its a dumb purchase. Youre just not going to see a difference in a real world setting. For reference the difference between the 2080 and 2080ti was something like 25%-30%. Youre literally paying to say to people you have a ti instead of FE. lol.

Prebuilts right now run anywhere from $2100 (shit to ok components with 3070) to $2600 ish with good/shit components and 3080. And anywhere in between. You can probabaly score a 3060 system for less than $2K as well.

Well 899 is a 200 dollar markup from the 3080 FE.
If this was normal times we would of seen a price drop of the 3080 to like 550 and the 3080 ti would of been 699. That would of been more in line with the performance and put pressure on AMD. This should of been a great generation for gamers because AMD and Nvidia both had competitive products so it was primed for a price war.

As I have not really looked at computer parts since December when I completed my build I was a bit surprised today when I saw that the amd cpus are fully in stock. Thought they would be as rare as the GPUs.

CPUs are much smaller dies than GPU dies. Nvidia also has supply issues from Samsung on the 8nm process and AMD is using most of TSMC for CPU and console production so they’re way down on GPU die production in comparison.
