Is there any valid gaming reason to go with a 12GB 3080 over a standard 10GB?

I wouldnt bother with Ti models of anything - and if you arent in 4k i wouldnt worry about 12GB Vram either as most games wont hit it at 1080p or 1440p

I'd choose the FTW models over XC simply for the better cooling. 10 vs 12GB is exact same memory and boost clocks.

May as well go with the 3090 or 3080 hybrid(12gb variants) - Ti really just does nothing more unless its the 3090Ti since it actually does do more than 10% in most cases

-edit- looked at some comparisons and it seems Ti 3080 does do a decent uplift, if its not more than $200 over a 12GB 3080 its not bad, the range seems from 5-10% so its not shabby. I want an aorus xtreme 3090 to replace my 3090 FE since i cannot use vert mount in this case.

I love the idea of the Hybrid cards, same as I have an AIO on my CPU, but my case just doesn't work with having a 240 or 280mm radiator that exhausts.

I like how the FE models looked of the 2080Ti quite a bit - not been much fond of hybrid cards myself
