Nah, just said I wasnt selected and how they wished they had more inventory. I wish they had more inventory too.

I got an email saying I was selected to purchase a 3070 combo for $900. Not sure if it's worth it or not. Any thoughts? I was hoping for a 3080 or ps5

In my opinion no, that feels high for a 3070, even with a mobo packed in (that you probably dont want)

I have a 3070 and have no complaints. I was going for a 3080 or 6800 but the 3070 was available first. Runs everything I’ve played with graphics turned up and stay well above 60fps on everything. Worst performer so far is Witcher 3 with 4K graphics mod dips into 80fps. I’m fine with saving the few hundred as like I said I’m happy with the card.
I can’t comment on that price, I got mine before tariffs so was just over $600 shipped. It wasn’t bundled either. And who knows when they become readily available, can’t comment on that either.

preorded a 3080 for 800 from shopblt, which I've never used before but is apparently legit, and they provide the quantities they've ordered and whats on the way. Wait period is min 3 weeks and there is a clause mentioning possible price increases regardless of price ordered at. So I guess I'll find out, I can hold out with my 1070 for 3+ weeks in anycase.

Yeah I dunno about that one. Each one of the 3080s has hundreds or even thousands more pre-orders than "stock on the way" and I dunno, maybe Im way offbase but I highly doubt these guys have over 9,000 EVGA 3080s on the way. Maybe over the course of a year or two. I've got a feeling you're gonna be waiting a lot longer than 3 weeks, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Keep us posted how it goes.

I "ordered" a 5900x from ShopBLT in the middle of November, it had an estimated arrival date of 11/28. Then like clockwork, every week it would move the eta out another week. Their numbers are unbelievable. I eventually cancelled my order at the end of December when I snagged a different Ryzen 5000 from another vendor. My eta at that point was like 1/15/21.
