Another Newegg Shuffle starting shortly. Time for another daily dose of disappointment.

Couple 3070s, even some 6800 and 6900xt's this time, along with a few 3090s (including EVGA and Asus). No 3080s today though.

Has anyone here ever been chosen for that Newegg Shuffle? I’m sure it’s probably getting entered with fake accounts but you never know.

The future of PC gaming is refreshing various websites for a chance to buy 1 video card at 50-100% mark up.

Pls pick me newegg.

The very first Shuffle they did I accidentally entered for a Ryzen 5800x and Motherboard combo and "won" it. You get a link in the notification email they send that takes you straight to your shopping cart with the item there. I just hit "remove" and emptied the cart. The email even comes with a special fancy "Congratulations" that spits out confetti when you mouse over it. Very posh.

All the forfeits are why around 9-10pm there are "drops" like normal at Newegg. They dump all the not purchased stuff to the bots to snatch up quick!

My local retailer here had 10 6800's in stock, on the shelf, for the low low price of $970 Canadian. It doesn't seem like such a bad deal looking at some of these prices.

I can tell you the MSI 3070 I had was much much nicer than my Zotac 3080. The MSI came with a really nice weight supporting bracket that I miss dearly, I almost kept it when I sold the card.

A local PC pc repair/retailer has cards in stock but wants $1300 for a 3080 and a 6800 for $999. A hard pass for me.

Jeez, newegg was in a hurry with the disappointment today. The shuffle confirmation email said they wouldnt determine winners until 5:30pm EST but Ive already gotten an email that said 'nope, not today either'.

5600, 5800, 5900, 5950 do not have integrated graphics.

That's what I did. :/ I still wish I had the 5900 for the extra $250 in my pocket, but having something versus not is more relieving.
