I'm currently working on pushing changes through Intune to reset as much of Windows 11 back to Windows 10 as can be done. Context menu, taskbar alignment, rigging the registry so WiFi can still auto join our work network via GPO. The registry on these things are going to be swiss cheese by the time we're done, but anything to stem the flow of retraining an entire trucking company's office staff, half of which can barely hunt and peck to save their lives.

I use Start11 from Stardock which is like 5 bucks gets most of the changes I want back.

I decided awhile ago to stop watching HUB for everything but monitor reviews. This is just them displaying their bias loud and clear.

The only apples to apples is full raster AMD vs full raster Nvidia. In addition to that, people have the option to infer differences in quality and performance based on their reconstruction technique of FSR2 vs DLSS2. ITS NOT THAT HARD.

Been considering swapping my EVGA 3080ti out for a 7900XTX, I game on dual 4k monitors and a AMD 3950x cpu. Any thoughts on what improvements I would see (if any)? I have a very hard budget of 1K so 4080/4090's are out. Don't see where swapping out the 3950x would help and 1k isn't enough to do a total rebuild.

tl;dr have 1k burning a hole in my pocket and looking to upgrade 'something' on my current PC.

Save another $600 4090 or wait until next gen imo.

3080ti -> 4090 is indeed like ~2x better vs ~1/3 for 7900.

It's a little over 25% faster on average. Take a quarter of what you're getting for frames now, add 25% more frames. Is that the number you're hoping to hit? No? Then not worth it. Yes? Then time to swap to team red.

I would NOT go from a 3080ti (My current card also) to a 7900xtx. I would go to a 4090 though.

Everyone makes dumbass thumbnails because, unfortunately, they're the most likely form of thumbnail that dumbass retard viewers will click on. Hate society more than the dude.

Yeah you absolutely have to use DLSS3 in order to get good performance with the RT Overdrive settings, making it pointless on anything that's not a 40x0 card.
