The linus one was interesting - turning Cloud into an angry lesbian wasn't what I was expecting, but it kind of works ;p

It 100% fucked clair obscure though. Without going into spoilers, there's something consistent the artists are going for and the DLSS5 completely destroyed it, even ( maybe even especially ) the bits that looked 'better'.

Wonder if that's what happened over at Hardware Unboxed too. Pretty sure theirs melted after DLSS 5 came out so they may have been dicking with it and not connected the dots.

Assuming no user modification (to the card or clock/volt/watt settings), the setup was already on shaky ground, but just under the danger zone as the games+settings+cpu being used in the past weren't maxing the 5090, but DLSS5 did.

Remember though, it's only idiots who aren't plugging in their cards correctly and has absolutely nothing to do with retarded engineering decisions and corner cutting to save money. Which apparently runs rampant everywhere but Nvidia products.

That octopus adapter is a known problem. Why the hell you'd use it or buy a 5090 and then go poor mode on the rest of your setup is beyond me. Pretty much a ygwyd moment.
