Not here in south Tulsa. Just the annoying howling of one of my neighbors dogs.
Did I know you were a fellow okie before?

Random, but if you're in OKC and like to hike, Bluff Creek's mountain bike trail is pretty fantastic for being in the middle of OKC. (just north of Hefner)

I think there's officially more skies than Texans here and I thought they were the most numerous

Okies, we have been plagued with little moths by the thousands. They are everywhere. Is it just my corner of the state? I can't even read a kindle in the dark.

Seananigans Seananigans Springbok Springbok etc al

Dragged my feet on local politics. Have no idea who any of the gov/let gov options are.

Was looking for last minute voting suggestions for tomorrow.

For Senate Hankins only one that didn't seem like generic rino from what I've seen do far trying to read fast

Hmm yeah I haven't looked into any of that stuff either. Would be curious to hear other Oklahomans' thoughts.

The only thing I know is to vote FUCKING WTF NO on the $15+ min wage nonsense. I cannot believe that shit is on an OK ballot. It's not just $15 min wage, it's $15 min wage that also increases yearly in perpetuity. What the actual fuck.

Is the minimum wage even relevant now? The local McDonald's can't keep their store staffed paying $18 an hour to start. Who's working for minimum wage right now?

Only around 3-4% of the US workforce is actually paid minimum wage. Where is REALLY matters is in all those union contracts which are negotiated with wages being a given multiplier of the minimum wage. So a bump in minimum wage equates to a huge pay off to labor unions for the most part.

I never followed up, but worst part was a lot of vague wording and essentially no cap on increases. That and it was going to require business to offer whatever their best health plan is to all employees, so even if you have a plan for Drs/engineers but employ a part time janitor they would have to be offered equal plans
