This idea is a pure ripoff. I remember coming up with the idea in the middle school lunchroom as a kid. Hey guys, wouldn't it be awesome if my handful of general ideas could become a DnD campaign or video game?!?! If only there were pre-existing tools and other people with the skills to make it real.... And then your friend chimes in with a few of his own generic ideas, and you're like duuude, you can have your own campaign/map/world too.... but first we just need pre-existing tools and other people with the skills to work to make our ideas real!!!
Who doesn't have ideas? Who doesn't wish others will skills and resources to work would recognize those ideas for pure genius and hand over the keys to a development studio?
Take your ideas and passion and vision and start building something, and in a way that allows others to join the team, and you might have something.
Then again, what you'll have is even less that what Brad has with Pantheon, so what's the point? Promising the game will never be made or changed for profit is a great sentiment, but doesn't build a game.
In summary, I'd support the Kickstarter!
