My son got up to like 2750 in competitive play. 75% of you nerds are getting owned by a 12 year old!

It's also nice to not have a job or responsibilities so you can play 5-6 hours a day without worry...

When we're in our 60's there's gonna have to be some special senior brackets.

Not gonna happen.

We won't hit 65 and magically find an interest in whittling and lawn bowling.

If anything we'll whittle and lawn bowl on Vive 7

I also wonder if at 65 I'll still listen to death metal. That's frightening to think of a senior citizen listening to cannibal corpse

I've completely changed my mindset going into comp and have gone from ~1950 up to 2500. I've pretty much completely abandoned the theory of "carry" or worrying about what anyone on my team may or may not be doing well. I just completely focus on myself and put the weight of every loss squarely on my shoulders. It is what I did in S1 and I completely lost this mindset for S2. I really hope to get to 3k before the end of the season but I'm not sure that is realistic.

So right now, i got done playing a match. Gold/Plat status. Half and half mixed. Well, i was last Person left alive as Zarya. I was actually coming back from a death. In overtime about to lose the match. Tracer and Rein see me, attack me. I bubbled and moved back. They LEFT the payload and lost. lol All they had to do was put up the Rein Shield and cruise to victory, but nope. THey wanted that last kill which they didnt even get! lol

This "common sense" thing isnt very common. Overwatch is teaching me that there are more stupid ass people out there then i previously thought.
I've definitely moved off the point/payload when backing off of an ult. Never in an offensive move though. *shrug* Can be easy to get carried away I guess, same reason people stretch out and run into an objective one or two at a time, or chase instead of escort.

Lol this thread on Reddit figured out what Mei is

Giant Ice Block and the main character from The Thing?

Mei is an alien shapeshifter. The world is fucked.

So I finally tried out PTR today (I haven't played much Overwatch in general lately) and the Arcade stuff is pretty awesome. I could see a lot of people doing those all the time, myself included.

Sombra is weird, I dunno. She feels like Tracer 2.0, but I really can't decide what to think.

I think they should have a couple health packs in the elimination arena on long timers. If your healer takes a lucky rocket to the head and you can't self heal you might as well die
