Every time I see the first one on cable it just reinforces how shitty it was and how pissed I am that we didn't get another Hellboy movie, instead.

Great movie. Great news about a sequel. Whiny bitches about the rain and dark, you could see everything that happened unless you were watching some shitty bootleg on some shitty TV.

the release date seems very odd. is there some significance to it? usually movies not even in production yet will be lucky to get the year and season pinpointed, but this has the exact date? anyway i hope it does well and maybe he will sneak in hellboy 3 before then.

As long as Del Toro doesn't try to write a fucking novel of his own about this, I'll be ok. Or at least gets a different guy to help him than the one that did The Strain. If anything could make Pacific Rim boring and uninspired, a Strain-like novel would do it.
