The bigger picture here is Brad was slammed when the Kickstarter project launched and he was criticized for many aspects of it, one of which was the rewards tiers. Here we are years later and they still can't grasp this basic concept. So many of you keep saying "Give Brad a chance!" .. yet, we are repeatedly shown ineptitude. If they can't get basic shit like a crowdfunding campaign figured out, how the hell do you think they can manage the complexities of an MMO?

We just don't agree with your opinion.

I spent 7 years in EQ. Almost 2 in Vanguard. The only other mmos I've spent any considerable time playing are GW1 / 2, and Warhammer (A bit of DAoC). The rest faded for me after few months, and I've tried most of the AAA titles. I don't regret the purchases, 100 dollars (or whatever) for a couple of months of playing is cheap entertainment.

So Brad's track record is pretty good, IMO. I like his games.

Also about the 1000 dollar tier. The people who buy that tier have to sign a pretty serious NDA. They're not even supposed to mention they have pre-alpha access. So they won't be posting here about it.

Are you stupid enough to spend 20 x 300 = $6,000 to help build a bar you might eventually get to drink at in 2019? Keep in mind that the "bar owner" (the bar is still purely hypothetical at this point) literally burned his last bar to the ground because he was on drugs. Are you so stupid that you'll give 80 to 100 grand to someone that wants to build a casino eventually but can't find a single reputable bank that is foolish enough to loan that kind of money to someone whose short track record includes bankrupting what should have been a money factory?

No, in fact YOU are dumb enough not to understand the point you were trying to make. You're obviously trying to paint a picture of yourself as some kind of a high roller with soooo much disposible income that you can spend braggable amounts of cash on frivolous things. It doesn't even matter if it's true or not, nobody's impressed fuckboy. The point that you're actually making by bringing up the costs of actual goods and services that people can spend money on, is comparing the astonishingly minuscule amount of a "product" and/or "service" Visionary Realms is providing for such an offensively over inflated price. But yeah, go ahead and keep on listing more real products that are completely finished that people can spend money on and actually receive something in return. I'm very selective where I spend my money. That's why i have some to spend. Also I live in San Diego by the beach. Doesn't get much more expensive than that. The cost of living here is so high that wages are very high. 1000 dollars doesn't mean much here.
