I recall reading a long article about him and what happened with his tenure at the company. IIRC he was extremely hard to work for and would throw tantrums, and fundamentally didn't understand EQ or had even played it before. He was appaled that EQ didn't have in game cutscenes.

Ive seen some posts from devs on the EQ discord that were along these lines as well. He definitely sniffs his own farts.

Almost 0 progress since Early Alpha release last year. If you like exploring unfinished stuff the classes are solid, but there is extremely limited content right now.
