Well, that's the reality. As far as content and what they've been implementing goes. As for opinions on whether the game is fun and all that jazz, certainly subjective. A lot, aka the vast majority, of content this last year has been level 35-50 zones, dungeons, and raids. So, if the people aren't hitting the late game, I could see how not much has changed at lower levels, outside the classes getting revamped and constantly tweeked.

That’s like the literal opposite of what I’ve heard from everyone else , not just here but people that have played the game recently.
Most posters in this thread are Bradmads lost in a pit of emotional trauma. Telling the truth is hard for them.

PTR Patch Notes – May 13, 2026

May 13, 2026

Steam Client Available

Steam users may now log in to our Public Test realm and help test upcoming updates for the game.

Character Wipe

This update includes a character wipe. Due to the large number of class issues that were addressed, we are asking everyone to start with new characters to help us re-establish a baseline for moving forward.

In this Update

This update is primarily focused on bug fixes for issues identified during Week 1. Some tuning has occurred, but the tuning process is still in its early stages. Major changes and additions are outlined below, and detailed notes follow in the subsequent sections.
Unified Hotbar
This week we are introducing updated hotbar functionality. All characters now have a single hotbar that can be used for any combination of action and utility abilities. Here are the details:
  • Each character will have 14 hotbar slots available. As mentioned, these can hold any combination of action or utility abilities.

  • You can adjust how the hotbar displays on the screen by clicking on the drag handle at the bottom right of the hotbar and dragging it into your desired configuration. By using this functionality, you can configure it as a single row, or multiple rows, either horizontally or vertically.

  • You can still use ability loadouts with the new hotbars.

  • Buffs will need to remain on your hotbar to remain active in the Week 2 build. This limitation is temporary. We will be removing this restriction in an upcoming build.
Resist Scaling Changes
We are increasing the scaling for resist values by a factor of 3 based on data gathered during Week 1. This change is being made to provide more room for itemization and buffs that impact character spell resistance values. As a result, the maximum limit for any spell resistance value is now 300 (previously it was 100). Note that characters are not expected to have access to much in the way of spell resistances until later stages of testing when the level cap has been increased.
Spell Pushback
Spell Pushback has been enabled. If you are hit while casting a spell, your cast time may be slightly delayed as a result. Please be sure to provide feedback on this combat mechanic if you encounter it.

Level Cap

The level cap for Week 2 will remain set to level 10.

  • The shaman vendor Akola in Thronefast now sells more level-appropriate abilities for new shamans.
  • Remaining Trait vendors in the Barrowdark have been removed.

User Interface

  • Improved UX for multi-charge abilities. Now only shows the cooldown number when 0 charges are left.

Also adjusted key bindings to support the new hot bar changes.
  • The auto-attack button can now be moved anywhere on screen in relation to the ability hot bar and can have its window settings (such as opacity and scale) changed independently from the ability hot bar by holding Control and right-clicking on the auto-attack button.
  • Added the “Hide Auto-attack Button” option to the General tab of the game’s Settings window.
