Vanguard at least had a tangible return, Pantheon has absolutely no chance of ever seeing the light of day, so mathematically, this is infinitely worse. Also, with Vanguard, at least all the drama was surrounding the actual making of a real game, instead of all of the focus being on an (relatively small for game development) amount of money that was misappropriated and the plan to string along some more suckers for another inconsequential amount of money. It's gross, really. The "game" of Pantheon has always been a vessel for Brad's greed, never an actual project. All this drama and dirty laundry make the Vanguard debacle seem so small. I think the best part of today is the apprentice devs wanting to learn Unity to help make the game. Brad please, make that happen.
Brad wishes he could get as much funding as Schilling.is brad approaching schilling level yet?

I do have the source to EQBrowser V1 (Everquest in Unity3d Webplayer) on github if you want to check it out. It is single player, but we will have the networking done sometime mid-end summer.
It has the basic Ecommons geometry and all the classic NPCs/PCs.

You can check out the live build of V1 @EQBrowser
Here is a preview of V2, I will have it on github soon(tm).

I dunno, but I'm filling this out as we speak...http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f3949a.pdfDoes the state of California know who Brad is?
Go play Archeage or wait for Black Desert, industry doesn't need has-beens anymore. It's such a shame it's come to this. This industry NEEDS people like Brad, needs them to make actual games that are games, not casual parlor toys. Such a fucking disappointment and potential wasted.
Innoruuk has forsaken us and this industry.
Look around, LOOK at the games coming out. This industry needs to get on its knees and beg for the type of games we had before to be developed again. It's a fucking wonder Garriott is doing what he's doing.Go play Archeage or wait for Black Desert, industry doesn't need has-beens anymore.
Some of the people over there are worse than here! Big time flames today.Putting out message board fires. This is now the life of Pantheon Visionary Brad McQuaid.
I know, they're pretty fucking awesome, especially when compared with the shitheaps we masochistically dealt with back in the day.Look around, LOOK at the games coming out.
I wanted this game, I still want it, but Brad has only himself to blame for this. You can't cripple a project the way he did. The foresight should have been there and it wasn't. It hasn't been there from the beginning. How did he even justify his pay with the little money there was? he made a choice, Do I continue the project for another few months or do I pay myself? He paid himself. He's looking at this from the perspective of being a CEO in an established company, that is well funded. He should have treated this for what it was.. A startup on a shoestring budget. You can't take that kind of cash off the top in the situation he was in. The worst part is he doesn't understand that. It's such a shame it's come to this. This industry NEEDS people like Brad, needs them to make actual games that are games, not casual parlor toys. Such a fucking disappointment and potential wasted.

I've been in call with him over well over an hour now. We are getting really good information out of him and I believe there is honesty (at least this conversation is)I wanted this game, I still want it, but Brad has only himself to blame for this.
