You can see a list of the tatoos here

Common sense demands these makanga tatoos are limited to one, otherwise you'd have +50 projectile builds etc but insanely strong no matter what

Yea I'm not 100% confident the reaper will stay alive, but him carrying a zealotry is worth messing around with at least.

Slam chieftans in shambles, unless it can somehow exert now. Strikes looking...okay? It's basically an extra attack per second, which given chieftan in general is a lot cause your attack speed is gonna be ass

Well, that wasn't the fix. Maybe it actually reads the supports now instead of 100% more. Copium.

It's always benefited from supports, it's just fist of war/exert that never worked which cucked it for slams.

Who knows if they changed that or not though, I'd fucking hope so if it lost the 100% damage mod?

I always thought that but every retard said something about links not applying, but it's because they telephone parroted some shit about fist of war.

If it works with links that's good, but the 100% more removal kinda sucks but I could see that owning with glacial hammer. Definitely the 1 second cooldown seems a lot more viable for debuff applying shit.

It's a small thing in the grand scheme of things but I dislike a lot is interacting with a new league mechanic and having no fucking clue how it works. There's enough going on in this for a tutorial.

So hows league mechanic?

I hate it.

The battles take forever. If you yourself click an enemy pillar and get hit you are stunned for five seconds. This means that basically every time you decide to hit a pillar you get stunned for five seconds. After that happens a few times you feel like a gigantic fucking retard for ever clicking on them. I just had a run fail because a pillar bugged as non-interactable. I ground out this stupid fight for like a half hour for a reward I didn't want just to get a win and then didn't from a bug. I hate that pillars have multiple life bars. I keep getting jebaited by thinking one is about to be destroyed and nope, second health bar.

I hated Sanctum during the campaign portion of the game as well and went on to really, really like it so we'll see about this one. For now I've put a bunch of time in to it fighting a bunch of long ass grindly battles of attrition when I should have done the pro gamer move of just ignoring the league mechanic entirely until I'm rocking a couple million dps. Doing runs in Act 4 is not worth.

Mechanic was pure pain early on, do not recommend.

Level 60 and 2nd lab done it starts to feel a lot more reasonable. It's extremely snowbally - the first team to lose a totem or two is insanely heavily advantaged.

Once you win an entire tournament you get to keep a bunch of your units for the next one and it gets 10,000% easier. My current starting team is the 3 useless idiots you always get, plus 4 more special favor guys from various tribes that have abilities like onslaught auras, freeze auras, make walls, etc. Going from the 3 default bozos to a team of 7-8 killers makes the first few matches a total freeroll to build up your team for the later/harder battles.

Defenders do mostly what you'd think and hang out protecting your totems.

Attackers also mostly do what you'd think and mostly just pile in to the middle of the clusterfuck.

The escort units follow *you* around like minions, so if you have auras or similar guys dump them there.

Flankers are how you win most of the time, so put anything tagged as 'mobile' on this, or anything that has a travel skill, or can CC enemies, as they will avoid the big clusterfuck and go attack enemy backlines.

You as the player almost never ever want to be trying to channel an enemy totem. The stun penalty from getting hit is fucking enormous and will almost always result in you dying. More importantly though you need to be sitting in the middle of the clusterfuck applying your damage to the enemy team to keep them from advancing. Respawn timers for each unit increase the more they die so just nuking the center pile a ton will grind you a victory via attrition even if it looks like a stalemate.

I haven't seen any enemy units that are immune to freeze yet. That may change later, but right now I can just freezelock most of the enemy team in the center while my flankers go eat all their totems on the side.

Thinking about it more the dude who shows up to Trial on some low tier melee skill has to feel like it's not even vaguely possible. I'm turtling behind a massive army of minions and I'm pissed as fuck at how long it takes when most other derps would have been shitcanned immediately.

I like how like half the fucking tournament has 7 totems, all of which require you destroy them twice. Does this shit get any easier or am l looking at a 10 minute fight for 2 alterations every time? If so I'm just gonna quit before I get any time invested.

yes. 20 min of killing every enemy 40 times to get the respawn timers big enough to actually take out totems every time, for 2 alt shards.

maybe later the rewards get better, but early, man they suck. and, you shouldn't even be picking based on reward, you need to pick based on favor rewards, so you can actually have enough favor to buy troops to win later rounds.

my cold dot seems very mid at best. most of the enemies have been cold themselves, having strong resists... Arc seems like it ought to GG this league.

its real rough at first, when you are outnumbered. need to play defence, just kill the enemy over and over and over again to get the respawn timer high enough that you can run forward after wiping the enemy team, and take out 1 totem. and do this over and over.
5s stun. you aren't locked into the totem, you can break off instantly. just watch out for it. Notice the blue column of light coming down on totems, thats the respawn. and be aware of getting shot from offscreen.

town loading screens are brutal this league. some people are theorizing its the MTX and the new graphics patch loading them all.

checking reddit saw a big tip. you can sell units for favor in the trials. so when you have 200 here, 200 there, thats useless. buy what you can, then go to the npc you WANT to buy things from, and sell those items/units to them, and get favor with that new npc.

I've done heist a couple times and it's always worth it. The zoomier the build the better. There's a whole meta to it but you can wing it and still make more currency then most alch n go strats

I had an enemy pillar bug out and be impossible to interact with after grinding out a from behind victory for 35 minutes. This was on the last round of the tournament.

edit - the entire introduction of this league needs to be redone. Your first half dozen fights should all be you and a couple guys versus a couple enemy guys all with clear team layouts. Oh! So and so has a bunch of flankers! Flankers avoid combat to attack pillars! Deploy defenders against them! It balloons right away to facing a dozen guys with no idea what everyone does. You won! Use your favor to buy extra guys because next round there's going to be a bunch more on the enemy team and if you don't you'll get railed! Also, if you pick a team to fight now you won't be able to go back and buy so be sure not to do that!

It's like playing a board game with someone explains only enough for you to take a turn but not enough to have any idea what you're doing.

Don't bother with sanctum until your build is done

Rares are included in the 'kill all guards' rooms, and it's exactly as gay as you'd expect. Good luck killing the crit immune/cycling reduction/ignite immune/whatever guy before he eats all your resolve

As a mostly casual player, even I know to not touch most of the mechanics in the game until at least maps.

Come on guys, what the hell??
