The deeper answer is this was my first opportunity to explore the Pathfinder game system. No one I knew ran Pathfinder and then this video game shows up that has a full 1 to 20 campaign and tons of classes and sub classes. There's just so much shit to tinker with. I've got WotR and BG3 in my steam library but I've yet to give them a go. I'm sure each one is going to be a thousand hours minimum.

I agree. That is one part of why I haven't dived in to WotR or BG3 yet. I'll never be able to go back to a game I currently still like.

I can respect his outlook. Look, I know it sounds crazy to you, but some people prefer to finish things before moving on. Some games just need commitment.

1400 hours of getting intimate with some of the absolute worst monsters d20 has to offer isn't a commitment, it's a sign of needing to be committed.
