I think roe is fine but the ending helicopter thing is a trash mechanic.

It was originally in the beta, that's for sure. Had to do some process to remove the spyware after just installing it and configuring it so you could even play it. I'm hoping that was resolved with the steam release but never can be certain.

PUBG is a fine game, if it worked. It doesn't. Most of the time. It's desync/hit reg are just fucked. Have been for probably a year. I like the pacing and fighting style more than COD, but COD actually works. The game works. That's all it takes.

PUBG is definitely more tactical than ROE/CoD/Fortnite etc, but it's just not fucking working. It's like having a car for offroading and it's missing a tire. There's no point in using it.

To be fair though. For quite a while in pubg, shooting a tire out on the van made it better for offroading.

I had a look at the current player count yesterday... 184k. Down from what? 2.5 million? well...bye.gif

Still close to 1mil on the peaks, but 114k to 184k on the valleys.

Dead game is dead.

Loaded it up last weekend, getting frame dips down to 20fps every 15-20 seconds with a top of the line PC. Ending up uninstalling again, it was driving me crazy.

I have no issues on any other game, it's just PUBG. Brand new 2700x, DDR4 3200, 1070GTX, SSD.

Game still runs like complete ass. It feels even worse when switchin between RoE.

Voice chat only works in game while i'm ALIVE. Back in the lobby while forming teams, or while i'm dead, nobody can hear me talk but I can hear others fine. So when i die with randoms, people think I ragequit all the time because I can't say anything.

did you find a fix? im getting 130 frames dropping to 5, i literally visit 5 websites, iptorrents / FoH / twitch/ FB /and my gmail so i highly doubt i have a virus....

i havent played this game in like 5 months tho, but still i dont visit random sites, none of that shit and if i look at porn its on my phone.

I played last week and it was running well. Not sure if steam installed it poorly or what. It was working fine then and I didn't do anything.

Probably just Bluehole things.

I started playing this again this week and I've been having fun, but... haven't they been on a FixPUBG campaign? It feels way more buggy than I last remember it a few months ago.

If you really want to boost your visibility, and get the clearest image possible, then you’ll want to make the following changes in the game’s configuration file.
Navigate to C:\Users\PC NAME\AppData\Local\TslGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
Once here, open up the “GameUserSettings” file, which is found inside of the “WindowsNoEditor” folder. From here, locate the follow options and change their values to the values indicated.
Change sg.ResolutionQuality to sg.ResolutionQuality=100.000000
Locate and change sg.ViewDistanceQuality to sg.ViewDistanceQuality=3
You’ll also want to find Screenscale and update it to ScreenScale=120.000000
Making the changes indicated above may cost you anywhere from 10-12 FPS overall, but it will create a much clearer image in the distance, allowing you to better see enemy players before they see you
