Dad bought me a vita for xmas, and I went out and got tearaway, dragon's crown and soul sacrifice immediately.
Love all of them thus far; there are DEFINITE games to play on that system, but there are strikingly few you need to buy a Vita for.
But if you haven't looked up those ones, definitely do. Current vita wait is Conception II, which looks fabulous.

Haha. Yeah, you really have to have a high tolerance for that shit. I'm not a big anime fan and this game is very heavy on that style of art and writing. Some of it is pretty funny, though and I enjoy the underlying systems with the Personas and the Social Links buffing them etc. The battle system is also fun.
if you like a good RPG, buy and download Legend of Heroes: Trails of the Sky (PSP title but you can play digital on Vita) - the sequel is being translated and released soon.

they added 3 new games to PS+ for vita this week, free. thomas was alone, unit 13, and lone survivor. the first two are also cross-ps3 games.

i haven't even turned on my vita in a few weeks but I add the free games every week and can download them over summer before trips or whatever

I bought a vita for 75 bucks off ebay, and I'm surprised that I like it so much. I play a ton of old school RPGS on it. That OLED screen is really good.
The remote play is godlike as well. I was playing Destiny on it no problem.

free PS+ game list is pretty funny, its like almost all vita games for the rest of this month. In July it all changes around, 2 games per platform rotating every month (no more instagame months long thing)

shittiest thing about vita is the memory card, i just have a cheapo 16gb card I got for $20 last black friday, a 64gb card is $100 which is more than i paid for the vita. fuck that

Most of the Vita library is ports, or 3rd party from what I'm looking at.
Saying RIP VITA is funny since people have been saying that since it was launched lol
What they really need to do is fully support remote play by re designing the buttons on it.
The vita should have all 4 shoulder buttons as well as clickable stick buttons.
There is no reason that shouldn't have been there since day 1.
That stupid pad on the back is awful.

Remote play is soooo much better on the Vita then the Wii btw.
Wii U if I go in the next room it shuts off, with the Vita I can walk on the other side of my house and it still works great.
I'm not sure on the specifics of that other then the Wii U is acting like an access point for the controller vs the vita which works off your wifi.
