There's no horde/alliance, right? Everybody can group with whoever?

Might try this out if so.

More population data. Looks like undead paladin will be the new night elf hunter.

I wonder what the fall off rate will be for people just trying out new race combos of classes they don't really like.

Not trying to ask anyone to convince me of playing or anything, but how are these servers?

Are they fun to play and have a population to support them? Im back on an mmo kick and its still sad to say that there is still only 1-4 mmos worth playing and are all almost 15 - 20 years old it seems. Im on classic anniversary and having a good time, but with the popularity of SoD, I would put a 99% guarantee that we will be getting an official Classic + in the future.

Having said that, are these private servers fun to play on, or do they die out within a few weeks / months?

Turtle WoW and Ascension WoW have been around for years. Of course there are private servers that flame out pretty quick, but if they stay popular and have a dev group willing to back them, they can absoutely have staying power. We will see with this one. The lead dev has said they have future plans for future raid tiers and they plan on supporting this for the foreseeable future.

As far as fun, that is 100% subjective. There does seem to be enough options on how to play, however, that if you are looking something to hold your interest, they probably have something for you. Read through their website, see what they've changed and updated, then decide for yourself.
