Play on COA you scrub. Vanilla classes are lame.I am a brand new private server fan. I never had a positive opinion of them based on others feedback. Stopped playing wow hardcore around the end of AQ40, and picked it up casually again during wotlk and basically only hit lvl cap and quit again.
Epoch intrigued me, so I tried that for a bit. Ignoring all the initial server issues, I had a decent time but it felt exactly like classic up to lvl 40ish, with a few exceptions to a couple of instances and random quests to ease the lvling curve.
I then tried turtle wow on the Ambershire server and found it much more to my liking, as it had new zones and many new instances to go through.
Hearing a ton of negative things about Bronzebeard, so thought I'd try that too. Logged on to whatever Area 52 was and was completely lost...new clue wtf all those classes are...etx. Very overwhelming at first...
Then I paid the $15 for BB beta or whatever to try that out....immediately hooked. Just in the new Tauren area there were elite quests, group mobs, random treasure on the ground....it was fun.
Then I hear all the negativity about level scaling, but apparently there is an NPC somewhere that you can turn it off. However, I remember everyone universally hated lvl scaling in ESO, and then it grew on people and now you can go anywhere and do anything and get appropriate loot / exp. It keeps the world alive even after 10 years have passed...
I think it's great that there are various servers to cater to various groups. It's OK to like one over the other, as people can just choose where to go.
Ill be on Bronzebeard no doubt.
The LFG experience on Epoch during NA times is awful.
Also, I'm floored that this game is over two decades old and rogues/warriors/shaman still don't let tanks get aggro before full sending. I was tanking live strat today with a faggot arms warrior who was crossbow pulling while I set up LOS pulls. I guess you can't cure retardism, even after 20 years.
i mean the other option is to just not bring any class that wants the same item , some pople just want to come get there quest done , im not gona tank brd for some other shitter warrior to get my ironfoe , i would rather just not bring themStarted to notice reserved item groups.
I absolutely fucking despise that shit. Durrr come on this dungeon run with me but the best item can possibly drop? That is absolutely mine thanks. Fuck any shitbird who does that.
I remember back before Nost this type of population was considered insane.
I put them on a personal black list and ignore them going forward. It’s obnoxious and arrogant to reserve shit.Started to notice reserved item groups.

Reserving items is one of those things I hate but also am not 100% against at least if it's a very specific item that say only a paladin would want.i mean the other option is to just not bring any class that wants the same item , some pople just want to come get there quest done , im not gona tank brd for some other shitter warrior to get my ironfoe , i would rather just not bring them
I zoned into Burning Steppes for that, saw that it forced PvP and noped out as alliance lol. Also didn't that AE pretty much one shot everyone in a 200 meter range? Crazy.
For these kind of events it really should drop tons of loot. I think maybe 3 things dropped for the 600 people in zone?![]()
