So... If you turn off all the mature filters on Steam you can see a sample of the nsfw hentai images in both of the games just linked. Curiosity has led me down a deep dark hole. I'm actually surprised by the amount of porn games on Steam now. Crazy.

Btw, I bought a steam deck, VS, and HoT, during the summer sale. Loaded them up and I'm having a blast with them and I wasn't sure is I was going to like the genre. Took the deck on vacation and those were perfect games to play during down time in the hotel room.

Get the beta engine for VS. Its in options of the game before you launch it. Solid 60 fps all the time instead of getting 5fps att the end of 30 minutes.

HoT has a surprisingly smooth meta progression. You can tell almost right away that you won't be finishing the level the first time (several times) that you start, but there is a constant sensation that you're growing more powerful without feeling like you're pounding your head against a wall or getting wild power spikes that trivialize the game (well maybe the priest is kinda OP when you first unlock her).

Haha. I wishlist them overtime as I see ones that pique my interest. Decided to just buy a bunch of them last night.

So far I played a few rounds of Goobies. Game seems pretty fun, more lighthearted than others. Seems like the builds go off of on hit/on death combos. I had whole screens blowing up after killing something on my last run.

I played the demo of goobies. Yeah, seems like chain reactions are kinda how you needed to build things. Art style is different too. Prolly will pick up the full thing at some point.

I played it before when Gavin linked it and then forgot about it, so I knew it was a good game already, but playing it again (all my shit transferred over too without me doing anything!) reminds me of how that "crappy" little game is better than 90% of the ones in this genre.

Having put a couple hours into HoloCure now, it's one of the best in the genre. Ps. I am not a weeb in any way, shape, or form.

If the theme was something like light hearted fantasy, I'd probably like it more. It's free though so can't complain too much! Seems to have a paid gatcha system to unlock beyond the first 5 characters.
