I actually went and cancelled my order. I have literally 0 problems with my current Pixel, so even with the $400 back I just can't justify it.

I don't own a smartphone. I was going to get a Pixel 2 XL but I might just get a Moto G5S Plus instead.

There are bugs with that handset, in India (XT1804?), as of it's release Aug 29. They might wait to release the bug fix update when they send out the Android 8 update?
I have the Moto G5 Plus and love it. Both G5 Plus & G5S Plus both use a Snapdragon chip (625). The X4 has a Deeper learning Snapdragon 630 and still a dual camera for $100 more but the tech is new.

I'm running Oreo on my Pixel XL and have it rooted (fuck ads). I have no complaints so far.

The battery on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is turning shit again (bought a new one after a year, and it's been another year now) so I ordered a Redmi Note 4. Yay.

I hope I won't have as many issues with Bluetooth this time. Or maybe wifi was the problem, or maybe both. Ran MIUI by xiaomi.eu 8.0.2.0 and turning bluetooth off and on again would sometimes result in a reboot, same for wifi. More often for bluetooth though.

Anyway, 150€ for a phone with those specs. It's also got B20 LTE which my RN2 didn't have.
No reason for me currently to hit up the prime brands again.

I can't even go a year without being bored and want a new phone. How the fuck do you go so long?
The Note was working fine, and I didn't really want to step down in size. Might have gone Note 7, but we all know how that went.

Yea, but in that same timeline, I went Note 5, Note 7, and then forced into S7 Edge. Lol... you just held strong. Much respect, but I can't do that!

If you bought the 6p from Google they should repair/replace

Apparently I missed the boat on the Pixel 1 replacement.

Google reverses servicing policy, no longer replaces defective, out of warranty Nexus 6P units

I just talked to google support and they just gave me some generic battery saving tips and told me to contact Huawei. Fucking sucks but I have known about this for months and didn't do anything about it so I have no one to blame but myself. I guess I'm in the market for a new phone though.

I was on the 6p reddit earlier as my phone just went back to Huawei for repair - we get a 2 year warranty in UK so it had a month left. I figured I might as well try before I get my Pixel 2 XL next month.

I think it depends on who you speak to Official 6P RMA Processing/Shipping Thread • r/Nexus6P

My iPhone updated. Not thrilled.

More clutter. And there are giant titles on everything.
