Barca 6-0 down on agg. That is absolutely shocking.
Fabregas: Come back to where you are wanted and respected. Those piece of shit fans in that stadium don't deserve you, and an average Arsenal side still managed a 3-3 w/ the best team in the world.

Who would you add? The only other people for width are Tello/Sanchez. Sanchez has been shit, Tello would be dominated by Bayern defenders. Alba was a retard and got suspended.
In a way this a good wake-up call for the longevity of the current team. Updates need to be made considering Barca have scraped by with a makeshift back-line for more than 2 years. Also it showed that we don't really have a backup offensive threat. 08/09 had Eto'o/Henry/Messi. 09/10 had Ibra/Messi/Pedro. 10/11 had MVP when both Villa and Pedro were not injured and in form. Last year only had Messi, this year only has Messi.
Hopefully Barca splash big and wisely this summer. The defense needs someone who is at the top of their game. Pique has been nowhere near his best since he started banging Shakira 2 years ago. Rossell wants to bring in Neymar but I am not sure. Seems like he will get dominated by imposing defenders. Apart from him I have no idea who would fit. Maybe an Ibra-eqsue player who isn't intimidated by Messi's status, although that is risky due to the already failed experiment. Not sure what else could be added to the front line. I am also wondering what will be done with Xavi, if anything. It has become apparent that against teams like Bayern/RM, his style slows down the team too much allowing the opposing defense to setup. On multiple occasions today someone was running on the break down the wings, cutting back with the ball toward the middle, and Xavi would get the ball allowing everything to slow down. I am not sure if it is time but seems like pushing Cesc/Thiago to near permanent starting roles is going to be a must. As sad as it is, need to evolve the system at some point and waiting it out isn't going to help. Yet another massive presence missing right now is Puyol or a vocal captain. Every team has one, Barca hasn't had a permanent one in a long time. If he was on the pitch in both games, he would have at least slapped the players into shape to show some effort.
Seems like Villa/Valdes/Sanchez/Affelay/Bojan/etc will probably leave so hopefully sale money on top of the regular 50mil budget, Barca will have 100+ million to spend this year on at least 2 top 5 in the world players. Going to be an interesting summer but if the board/Rossell are not retards, Barca should be back yet again next year.

Every Barca fan with any intelligence was calling for defenders last year and even prior to that when Abidal was having issues during the UCL winning run in 10/11. What did the board do in those 2 years to reinforce a visibly aging and broken back-line? Singed Alba, a defensively poor, offensive strong wingback. Signed Song, a bench player. Signed Fabregas, a bench warming midfielder. Signed Sanchez, a low scoring winger. Result, 93 million spent with zero added defensive reinforcements.

Nobody was making runs into the wide areas or staying wide, everything was again through the middle which was the same issue they had vs. Chelsea last year as you greatly simply what the defense has to contend with when everything is in front. I should have been more specific to say tactics and not players, it didn't matter who was playing unless Messi was 100% fit and working his magic with the way Tito decided to go about the game. Almost stubborn to a degree that what has worked in the past will always work. It allowed Robben/Ribery to always release early same as in Munich and that was that.
