Just saw that on reddit. All I can make out from it is that it hit somewhere on his upper body. Anyway no point in dwelling on it, just need to see how things turn out in three weeks time.

Just watched that gif, I'm sure I'm not the only one that thought

WTF IS WITH THAT KIT?!

Boateng could have played basketball for all I noticed, I was too busy recoiling in horror at that orange/yellow monstrosity.

It's not really a problem? Barca have almost become undone nearly every season by this style.
2008: Undone by United, methodical bus parking job in the semi (oh and that Scholes goal. <3)
2009: Nearly undone by CFC, saved by Referee & Iniesta goal.
2010: Undone by Inter the next season
2011: Dodged decent bus parking teams beating RM/United in the SF/Final. United didn't try to park..

2012: Undone again by Chelsea last season.
2013: Milan?
Trendy.
you left out losing to Liverpool over 2 legs in 2007. I believe that was the game where Arbeloa made his debut at LB and marked Messi out the game.

Pks is always good for coming with the full retard in his posts, the gif is from a horrible angle and it still indicates it hits his hand. As far as the teams they lost to, this current team started when Messi was moved into the false 9 role in 2009. In each of the times they lost it was clear who was the better team but in all things Football sometimes you need lady luck on your side. Pks just has to come up with whatever bullshit he can instead of just being happy that if by some chance Milan does pull this off Barca is out who ManU can't beat with their current midfield. Granted I still favor RM at OT so it will probably be a moot point anyway.

Not sure why that would be a surprise, on paper comparing starting 11v11 you would favor Real at almost every position sans striker and cb and even then it's pretty close as Varane is looking like he's going to be a stud for years to come.

You aren't the brightest chap are you. Call me a retard because I post facts about Barca's CL record, and your refutation of it is basically "they display superiority". Herp. Want to use some logic next time?

Right, and I would argue that if you talked to any person with football knowledge if they replayed those ties 9 times out of 10 Barca would win. The Inter game at the Nou Camp was about the most anti-football game you'd ever see, I doubt the ball got into Barca's half with any real intent the whole game. Chelsea tie is just Messi missing a PK. Fine margins and any other team in the world would be happy to have those problems.

The Inter game was only that bad because Busquets forced Mourinho's hand by playing peek a boo. The Milan game was the only CL loss where Barca were genuinely awful. Most of the other loses involved some combination of heroic goalkeeping and poor finishing; against Milan, they never came close. Any other team would love to struggle the way Barca does.

After the game the numbers were released for Barca, 961 total touches, 11 in Milan's box. Pretty much sums up the entire game for Barca.

LFC doesn't play now for another week, hopefully it doesn't affect the roll we seem to be on with our play. Interesting in that in every game lately where Rodgers subs off Henderson that the teams play seems to drop off. Who knew?

I agree - but I'm damn near 30 and let Arsenal games LITERALLY ruin entire days/weeks. I'll be sick to my stomach about this stupid loss until our next stupid loss. Haha. I wonder if I'll ever grow out of this?
I feel the same way. I was about to go on a fucking rampage on Sat but Santi managed to work his magic.

I always felt like Szczesny was a really good keeper. In the last 3 games I would fault him for 4 goals. I am really starting to change my opinion on him.

I still think he's quality, but its difficult to grow when you've got nobody behind you pressing you to be at your best. Would be great if Arsenal brought in a decent keeper to push for that spot.

Pretty good weekend for the Arse - Everton lose again, Chelski get drilled (any team in Europe doing less w/ more?! I can't think of one. Over $100 in forwards, and fighting for 3rd/4th). Santi was clutch Saturday, Wilshere was great again, everyone else looked pretty tired. I'll be shocked if Arsenal don't end up 3rd or 4th.

Yeah it was. Hopefully Spurs lose tomorrow against the Hammers. Then things are going to get interesting. Game on Sunday is massive. I think we're going to take it.

I agree with you tho. Arsenal have a massive chance to finish top 4. I think its going to be Chelski and Arsenal. Chelski just has too many good players, and Bale is keeping Spurs afloat at the moment.
