This weekend should be fun - Just read that apparently John "King Dicksucker" Terry and Rafa got into it at training today. Seriously, Chelshit is probably my most disliked team in all of sports. Just a wholly unlikeable, shitty, trashy club from top to bottom. Doesn't help their image that JT is the poster boy either.

So this is what its like to be embarrassed by your rivals. I turned the tv off already, watching Barca play with 2 attack minded wing-backs and 2 center backs (1 being old and slow) isn't very fun. I though the coaches would have realized this already. I would take the 40-50 mil Euro Neymar fund and just drop in on Hummels and another defender.
Barca need Tito, Roura isn't cut out for coaching and cannot make changes on the fly, this has been evident in nearly all his games. Against shit teams Barca usually scrape by, but against good teams they have nothing if the initial strategy doesn't work.

For all the talk about Pep the super coach nobody talks about how poor some of his signings have been. Admittedly I'm not sure of who decides transfer strategy at Barca but someone has to take responsibility for:

Last week, this weekend and now today Barca just look flat. If Tito comes back and they continue this rut of playing then you can't say it was the coach, until then I'm going to side with the coach not being good and not getting his players ready to play.
Not sure if Ossoi is serious, as an LFC fan we have no grounds to be whining about transfer business. Pretty sure the last successful transfer window was over 10 years ago.

Sanchez - Should be perfect for Barca. No ones fault except his own that he can't convert even the simplest of goals. There have been multiple games this season where any middle of the road striker would have gotten 2-3 goals. His first season was better but lately his confidence has been shot.
Song - I would have agreed with you at the early part of the season, but lately Song has actually been pretty solid when taking over for Busquets. His last 1-2 months have been pretty solid, his distribution has been good, he isn't afraid to pass under pressure, etc. He never came to be a starter, no one in the world can bench Busquets, but he is a decent backup.
Why Villa didn't start is beyond me. He has been solid and so far has 7 goals in La Liga off 12 shots. He offers pure clinical finishing when Pedro/Sanchez/etc are off. No idea what the staff is thinking. The Iniesta/Cesc debacle is still puzzling. Every single Barca fan over the last 1-2 months has noticed the issue of playing both at the same time vs good teams. The stats/graphs are there, no idea how the staff is so blind.
Here's the problem with Alex Song signing for Barca... he's older and worse than Busquets!
As for David Villa, he's been playing as a striker for his entire career and got put on the left wing too make room for Messi in the middle of the field. I think this is insane, considering Barca don't have a real striker.

And of course I'm serious, if you think swapping Eto'o for Ibrahmivoic at a combined cost of roughly 70m is good business then think again. Then factor in that Eto'o went onto win the CL and that Ibrahimovic was farmed out to Milan after only one season and sold to PSG for roughly 20m = LOL
I will excuse Brando and Passenger, clearly they (just as nobody else) has ever heard of Kerrison or Chrgn-whatever (hes such a non factor I can't be bothered to spell his name properly), hence their doubt that I would dare to question the transfer genius of Pep or their complete failure to try and justify their signings = LOL
And yes Brando, clearly LFC selling Torres and Babel for 55m and replacing with Suarez and Carroll was horrible business...after all, Torres is scoring a goal a game for Chelsea and Babel is simultaneously dominating the Bundesliga whilst also dominating the rap game! Moron

The thought that because we received 50m pounds for Torres somehow covers over what we spent for Carroll or that we actually sold Babel for half what we paid for him is asinine. You'd have to go back to the 07/08 window to actually find where we did get some value for the money spent which oddly enough includes Babel's inflated fee. Even now you can't say Allen was worth 15m or that Borini was worth 11m, even with Hendo's improved form he should have cost a third of what he actually did and is all we could probably sell him for right now.
As far as Barca, just like any other club in the world your going to find as many hits in the transfer market as misses. Ibra wasn't a failure at Barca, just that he moved Messi out of the no. 9 role and I think it's been pretty clear that moving him into that spot was probably the better choice. Aside from that I'm not really sure what you're getting at other than hoping Pep shits the bed at Bayern and you can somehow justify in your head whatever fallacy you have about him. Considering the situation he's walking into (Bayern are sitting on a mountain of cash) I seriously doubt the odds on that are good.
As far as D. Villa, darkseid seems to be forgetting he had a broken leg and by the time he was 100% Barca were on a roll so why change up the team when things are going well? He probably should be starting instead of Cesc at this point but who knows if it would make any difference.

Well Barca starting Cesc/Iniesta in similar roles/positions shouldn't be much of a shock - they won a World Cup together in the same roles. I will say though that Barca looked a ton better when Tello came on/Cesc came off last night. He's world class, but they are already have the best in the world at doing what he does.
For Song, LOL. Thanks for the $$ Barca. He had one great season in a mostly attacking role last year, and Barca pays 15m for him to play CB/DM.
Villa should definitely be getting minutes I think, if for no other reason than to change things up a bit. He's the best pure finisher in the league statistically and gives you a different look than Cesc/Iniesta playing at the same time.

I explained that Sanchez is borderline at the moment. His first season was fairly successful considering when he came from Udinese, he never came to be a massive goal-scoring threat, he is a workhorse who creates space for other attackers. With that said, this season his finishing has basically dropped to nothing. Even without being a goal-scoring threat, he still needs to finish off the easiest of chances. If the Neymar "pre-deal/signing" stories are true and Rosell makes another push this summer, I don't see Sanchez staying. A trip back to Serie A is probably in his future.
For some reason they wanted to reinforce that position so Busi doesn't need to play every single game. I think the staff considers Mascherano 100% centerback at this point, hence getting Song as the new defensive mid backup. He was the best option in the market. I don't necessarily agree that the buy was needed since I would have rather focused 100% on fixing our centerback issues, but I am not ready to call the Song signing a failure.
This is currently the biggest issue. Roura isn't able to make changes when things aren't working like Pep and Tito have. During the fall, there have been countless (probably 5-10 games) where Barca were playing like shit in the first half and often losing. Time and time again Tito would make bizarre and unorthodox changes at halftime that while baffling would turn the team around and win games. We needed that in the Milan game as well as last night.

I've only caught two Barca games this year, but I noticed the same thing. I really want to see them play ManU in Champions, but they still need to finish off Madrid on March 5th.
And unfortunately, Munich's team looks really fucking good.
