Not sure why but as soon as we hit 2020, AEW started pulling a consistent 900k+ and beating NXT.

If they can start hitting a million it's a good sign they are now growing a consistent viewership.

The total for AEW + NXT is still around 1.6 million people.

Sure, but the total number of viewers has been constant for like 3 months. The best AEW could for is 1.6 million viewers if NXT got 0. The overall Wednesday night wrestling audience is not growing. Maybe something will change so that it will be like the Monday night wars years where the fan base exploded.

AEW said their goals were to bring back those lapsed fans, but it hasn't happened yet. I hope it does!
