Wistoria was very "pretty" today. Phenomenal animation. Yet at the same time, Will suddenly going god mode didn't really do anything for me. It was neat, sure, but now he's better than everything else. It's like sending superman to take out a mouse problem.

This season of Wistoria so far seems like it was meant to be a 1 hour standalone movie but they decided to just make it the first 4 episodes of this season instead?

I dunno but that shit is mid as fuck.

Animation is mid, the power up is ....ok i guess? But that shit is making no sense. This is some DBZ shit but trying to aura farm like it's 2025 Jin Woo.

Sure looks like they're using CGI in weird ass spots too, like when the characters talk the mouth is ....weird? You can see the back teeth like it's some lazy 3D model.

I hate it.

It's flashy but that shit is miiiiid as fuck. Flashback to literally last month where we got Frieren, JJK with banger battles after banger battles, and sentenced to be a fucking hero with literally fucking highlight reels every other episode. Flashback to a few days ago with Witch hat dropping a lecture on how to animate shit and make an impact.

Yeah this isn't good animation, it's lazy and sloppy at best.

Yeah, phenomenal wasn't the correct word. Nothing about the animation was really groundbreaking. Mainly, it was quick and flashy. Very pretty.

I thought this season was going to be loaded when I first looked but it doesn’t quite have as much for me as the last few seasons. Some all star shows just fewer of them. Going to have to look for some missed gems from previous seasons.

I'm still enjoying the season. There's a couple shows that bore me, but then the next episode I like them again. I'm pretty content.
