So I went to the bar last night with a buddy and this game came up. We both intend to play it, since there’s pretty much no other decent space battle game on PS4 that we’re aware of.
Anyway, we order a couple beers and decide to grab a bite. The burgers look good and they come with my favourite set of toppings; lettuce, onion, and tomato. We both order one.
So the burgers come and I notice that my buddy added cheese and bacon to his. I don’t really understand this business practice. I mean, I’ve already paid for the burger and now they want to charge me an extra dollar each. I mean, the ethics of this are questionable in themselves - charging a premium for addictive salty and fatty toppings. Whatever, it’s fine.
Then, I see it. The smile on my buddy's face. He’s enjoying his burger more than I am. I am devastated.
Not only that, but I also notice he paid a premium for a beer with a higher ABV than mine! He’s getting drunk faster than I am and it’s ruining my desire to even be out with him at all. He’s literally spending money to make me have a bad time. Capitalist pig.
Anyway, I left a pretty scathing review of this place on Yelp this morning and now I feel pretty good about myself.
13 hours until launch!
