That's Studio Mir and they are a South Korean studio, which isn't all that unusual given that a LOT of 'American' animation is actually done in South Korea.

Fall 2018 isn't that far away, although I'm disappointed that Filoni's series isn't going to be the followup to Ezra/Thrawn.

I have faith in Filoni. From the sounds of it its going to be very much like Rogue Squadron (the comic that is) just set a few decades later and dealing with Black Squadron and the whole shadow cold war between the Resistance and the First Order... basically the setting info it would have been nice to have going into TFA

Rumor has it that Disney and Lucasfilm are planning to do “about” three or four seasons of Star Wars Rebels before starting a whole new Star Wars animated series, with all new characters, set in the timeline of the current movies (the Star Wars sequel trilogy).

This was the original post from late 2014, so Disney is still on track following a plan designed years in advance. A shame they couldn't do that for TLJ.

I can 99.9% confirm that Pre-Production is fully underway and location and art department are staffed for Kenobi standalone movie to be released in 2020.

TMZ reporting that a director has been selected and the synopsis is "Tensions between the local farmers and a tribe of Sand People — headed by a ruthless war chief — eventually brings Obi outta hiding … and into Jedi kickass mode. "

So this would appear to be a western: Retired lawman who sees the local farmers have issues with the natives and reluctantly comes out of retirement to take them down.

I really like this reviewer, she has some other stuff on Star Wars movies but in this video she tears apart their new toy line like a Plinket Review. Shows how shitty their SJW decision making is.
