They ain't gonna put anything SW related on the big screen for at least 2 more years.

All they had to do is say the original timeline of Rebels had Ahsoka die and that resulted in the sequel trilogy and why you heard "force ghost" lines from her despite being alive in canon.

Ezra would have already retconned the entire trilogy before Ep 9 came out.

DC did it all throughout the 90's and 2000's as did Marvel occasionally. I.E. Fantastic Four.

dude, thats the only way they can go forward and still have a hope of pulling in boomer star wars fans. they pissed them all off with TLJ and then they pissed off the TLJ fans with ep 9. right now the Star Wars franchise is fucking dead and there is no way going forward with the corner they painted themselves in. it needs to be reset and if it pisses off the TLJ pussies, thats too bad, they dont generate merchandise income.
