Dunno. She said she would find Ezra, but don't think that she is in the finale. I wonder if this leads to Ahsoka possibly having something to do with whatever new project Filoni is working on now.

Finally got caught up, hory shet. Not sure how they're gonna off Thrawn in one episode with him being away on Coruscant atm, unless they're gonna seriously cock tease us by leaving him alive at the end of the series. Rukh being the one to kill him (to follow how the books, if only for that one plot point) would need more time to setup than a single episode can provide, so not sure wtf they're gonna do.

So....

I think I just had an emotional seizure of happiness.

So thinking about the epilogue...

Ahsoka arrived in a very fancy New Republic looking vessel with a pair of Xwing escorts. Clearly even though she is no Jedi, Lady Tano is a person of significance.

They could easily have the next series take place after ROTJ and cover some of the territory between 6 and 7

had to laugh a bit at Filloni bringing back Mortis and Space Whales, two of the dumbest things out of Clone Wars and Rebels. Not only that, but to bring them back to be pretty awesome.

If you hint Ezra is alive, then so must Thrawn.

Hera and Kanan's son was named Jason, but I'm guessing it's spelled Jacen in homage to Jacen Solo.

Next Star Wars animated series should be the hunt for Ezra and dealing with the Imperial Remnant/First Order.

Rex confirmed to be white beard guy in Return of the Jedi.

Yoda's words are still canon. "When gone am I, the last of the Jedi will you be." Ahsoka is not a Jedi and technically neither is Ezra.

Sabine and Ezra gonna make a baby when she finds him. That baby's gonna be a half Mandalorian Jedi with Mary Sue powers. (Only half joking)

The next series could easily run concurrent to new hope / empire / return and provide a different perspective to the war.
I'd actually really like to see that.

and she is looking downright badass. Now you just know she and Luke must have encountered each other at some point...right??

I just bet Mark Hamill would jump at the chance to reprise Luke in one of Master Filoni's series

Well see that's the problem, Filoni planned out major plot points for the TV series since Season 1 while some movie writers just chuck a lightsaber over their shoulder, wipe their ass on blank pieces of paper, and hand it in to the execs as a completed script.

...and then they have to pay Paramount 7+ figures to break JJ's contract so he can 'attempt' to fix it.

I understand the mechanics behind it. Just disappointed with how the movies have been and pleased with how this show and Clone Wars before it were handled.

And they name her Jaina so we have jacen and jaina running around again?

I was expecting to see someone who could be snoke in this series. If we did, I must have forgotten.

Didn't like her dyke haircut, looked weird. Also I always liked the Ezra being Snoke theory.

We didn't. But Ezra and Thrawn hyperspaced out to where Snoke is from.
