I have played it off and on for the last year (maybe less). My kid loves Batman so I only play it when he wants to watch, I think I am close to done with the main story, I forget, probably been 2-3 months since he asked me to play.

I followed it for a while (didn't buy it) but I thought there was a consensus that they mostly fixed the performance issues. I think the Steam review graph would look different if they hadn't (more negative than positive first couple months, then 85% positive after that).

Arkham Knight w/dlc is 14 bucks on humble, anyone know if they ever got around to unfucking it on PC, or is it still an embarrassing mess?

I played it around 6 months ago and it ran fine on my relatively beefy machine. I played it at launch too and it's night and die. Main thing that got fixed was the memory leak and random CTDs.

That's a solid bundle, of course I already own just about all of them. Was really hoping that some magical way, V was going to be at the $15 tier.

Surprisingly I only own Bully from the top 2 tiers so picking up the BTA was a no brainer. I've always wanted to own Vice City anyway. Solid bundle if you don't own most of these.

it was unplayable at release, but it was all patched and working fine after a few months, i think? either way, it's fine now.

Humble Monthly I just signed up for this month for Civ 6, and next month is gonna be Dark Souls 3 + DLC. Pretty amazing!! I think part of it is I haven't played single player games much the last 2 years, and so those games are just now hitting things like Humble, so the value for me has sky rocketed.

It's only with the first DLC, Ashes of Andariel though, not the 2nd one which from what I've read is the really good one, The Ringed City. And since the Ringed City doesn't seem like it's dropping under 10dollars any time soon, it's not really any better of a deal than the 25$ deluxe edition(game+season pass) that are pretty common elsewhere. A bit better, if you can find the last DLC at 10bucks(it's currently for sale on a bunch of shops).

Was a bit angry cause I picked it up like a week before this went live, but then looking at the prices it's not so bad, only lost like 2euros.

Thanks! LSL3 was one of the first games that introduced me to PC gaming, well before I was even able to understand much of the humor. I love the series and own the compilation on CDs released many years back (which included some great bonuses not present here such as the original Softporn text adventure Larry 1 was based on), but it's great to have the series available on Steam. Easy purchase for me.

Edit: It originally seemed like the bundle didn't include the VGA remake of LSL1, but it turns out you can access it by right-clicking LSL1 in your library, selecting "Properties", then "Betas", then selecting the VGA menu from a drop-down menu. Not exactly intuitive, but at least it's there!

I started off on Tandy CoCos but Kings Quest, LSL and Ultimas was my first real "PC" games. Special place in my heart, even if I do only load them up and play for 5 minutes before the interface and graphics make me puke.

I still love the interface and the graphics, but I usually end up playing until I can't remember what to do next!

Those were the good ole days. It was before internet was available and if you did have a modem it was 2600 baud local BB type shit. No walkthrus tempting you. You solved the damn problem if you wanted to move on.
Back when computers made minds great again.
