EQ, EQ2, WoW, D3, online poker and consoles would account for that pretty much. Buying a shitload of bundles or games I'm semin-interested in while on sale pads out the rest. I always look at it as I buy games while I have plenty of disposable income so if something goes bad I don't need to worry about buying anything for a while but yeah, I need to up my game on pc again now the 3 year rebuild is done.
I do the same thing lol. When Im poor living in a cardboard box under a bridge at least Ill have my steam backlog to work through!

Over the last 6 years, you've spent 3764.4 hours playing this selection, which includes 127 items, is valued at $2196.83, and requires 763.4 GB

Surprised mine is worth so little. After the 1600 hours I've sunk into Marvel Heroes, the next highest is XCom at 340 hours, then Blood Bowl at 265 hours.

Have their been significant improvements to Marvel Heroes since the Total Biscuit video? It looked like there was no end game and most heroes were mindless simple spam. Lot monster variety etc.

No idea when his video was, but Marvel Heroes is significantly better now than it was at release. There's tons of content, weekly events, and it's a very good F2P implementation. There's some end-game raids...some heroes still have mindless spam, but there are plenty of heroes to choose between and someone in the Marvel Heroes thread could find one that fits the style you want to play.

Yeah there's 49 heroes and for the most part they all have pretty distinctive play styles at max level. When leveling up it's generally just find the most efficient AoE ability and pair it up with the most efficient single target ability and go to town. Some are pretty goddamn vanilla, and some are pretty terrible relative to the rest of the roster (Emma and Colossus come to mind) but it's a pretty fun Diablo style game. I rarely ever even bother with the endgame content either. I have all 49 heroes at max level, and about 22 of them at red prestige, which is the equivalent of leveling them to max about 5-6 times. I have another 5 cosmic prestige heroes which is the equivalent of leveling them to max about 30 times.

I DO IT ALL FOR THE COSTUME GRINDING I NEED AN INTERVENTION

Yeah, I thought my 758 hours in Marvel Heroes was excessive...I probably only have about 15 at max level. Also have 360 hours in Blood Bowl.

Clearly Steam came out at the wrong time in my life, when I started to have a family, and no time to game anymore.

Or we can just blame it on MMOs..

Over the last 3 years, you've spent 466.2 hours playing this selection, which includes 84 items, is valued at $1467.77, and requires 618.7 GB

I'm unsure how you get anything done with that playtime.

Even if you didn't play for 2 of those 3 years..

Sort of? The $1 is boss as hell. I've heard terrible things about Van Helsing II though, especially considering I'm not compelled to go back to the 1st and progress past like the 2nd area. Already own Stanley Parable. Still tempted to go BTA for Endless Space even though it'll be like a year or two before I touch it

#2 was better than #1, having multiple classes and options for each. Still inferior to Diablo, but some fun aspects in it (TD minigame) and the ghost who regularly gives you lip.

I dont have any of those. Now I see that Humble Bundles are how you jerkasses inflate your steam stats.

I don't think I've bought a game at full price since......... Diablo 3? and probably not many before that, either. Always doing 50-75% steam sales, or Russian traders (RIP), Nuuvem, bundles, yep.

the three websites that offer pretty big bundle deals weekly are

Humble Jumbo Bundle 4 (pay what you want and help charity)- money goes to charity
http://indiegala.com- mostly indies, they keep the money
Indie Game Bundles and PC Game Bundles - Bundle Stars- mix of indies and AAA, they keep the money

pretty much with 90% of my steam library from those I've spent ~400 over the past year and grown to 1500 titles in my library. you can recoup most of the money back (~$250 for me) from running idlemaster and selling trading cards too.

porn is also now getting into the bundles, obviously NSFW

Indie Game Bundles and PC Game Bundles - Bundle Starsis also pretty good at times. Lots of shitty game bundles but things like Mordor GotY for $20 make it worth checking every few days for both the bundles and the store.

I think Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes is a pretty cool game and worth it. It's a mix of Civ with some tactical combat and RPG elements. I found it pretty refreshing. Definitely worth $1.

Wait, wait...ppl want those annoyances called cards? So you...bot the cards and sell them? How is steam not aware of this?
